Democrats are no better. Though they are on the right side of this issue, the tactics they use to "win", are the same old demagoguery, class warfare by demonizing the rich.
Nobody needs a fancy argument to convince that the debt ceiling indeed does need to be raised. But all the Republican candidates are vying for their "red-meat" base, and are willing to harm the country to gain power. And the Dems are clinically insane, thinking they can do the same thing over and over, and get a different result.
It could be funny if it weren't so tragic.
